Meet Belinda

Hello, I'm Belinda Asare, owner of Nana's Home Health Care Services, and this is my story.

Growing up I was privileged enough to live with several generations of family members. My grandfather was blind and it was always my pleasure to be the first one in line to help him eat, get dressed/undressed, walk him to the bathroom, sit with him for companionship, and get him ready for bed. This came very naturally to me. Immediately I found my true passion and inspiration.

In 2012, I became a licensed home health aide in NJ, and trained with two well-respected home health care agencies. I became their top employee, receiving numerous compliments from many family members of patients I cared for, as it was easy to see the level of professionalism and compassion I strived to maintain.

My experience includes work in hospitals, facilities, nursing homes, and residences, whether it was live-in or live-out, for patients diagnoised with Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer, diabetes, recovering from a stroke, rehabilitating, or dealing with various other aging issues. I handle my job responsibilities with pride, respect, dignity, and kindness.

For these past several years I have known I could make a difference and have a wider impact in this industry. I have spent my entire life taking care of people with compassion and professionalism. Your loved ones have earned the right to stay safe and comfortable in their own home and be cared for with respect and dignity.

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervision

Nana's Home Health Care Services provides an RN professional to every case to perform an initial assessment at the start of service. The RN will cover many areas related to the patient's physical and mental health during this assessment. The RN will create a care plan for the assigned in-home caregiver to follow on a daily and weekly basis and this will be updated every few months or with any change in the patient's condition.

The RN will follow up with a 30 day phone call to check on the status of care and then visit the home every 60 days for the duration of service. The RN will also evaluate the competence and performance of caregivers regularly.

RN supervision of caregivers provides quality assurances that our client's needs are addressed thoroughly and professionally.
